This was the perfect place to stay for exploring Yosemite and the surrounding area. The space was lovely, Mariposa is close by and walkable. You’ve got a kitchen and a little porch to sit on. We could not have asked for more!

Quaint and cute cottage
A perfect little cottage for a trip to Yosemite. It took roughly an hour to get there each morning but the drive is so beautiful that it feels like an “event”. The cottage was clean and cozy and the host communicated well with us. Would definitely book again!

The perfect place to stay if you are looking to explore Yosemite and the surrounding Mariposa area. Vicky is an astounding host with a great attention to detail in ensuring the best stay for her guests. Great location, beautiful studio, and a lovely view of Mariposa from the patio sitting area. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone and we will hopefully be back!

What an amazing place!!
My wife and I needed some peaceful time away from the city and this was the perfect place. I definitely recommend it. I usually read reviews before I go to a place. After reading all the good reviews I decided to book this place and it did not disappoint at all. The place and the host was amazing! She made our stay memorable. Definitely coming back!

The owners had clearly thought of all the small things. The town was cute and had everything one would need. Just be prepared to drive over an hour to she from Yosemite valley each day. It's a trade off to get better food but the roads at night can be a little scary.

Love the room, didn't like the roaches.
The place is very nice, beautiful view, love the kitchen, bed was very comfy. We really loved it until we found cockroaches in the restroom. It make it very uncomfortable to sleep or used the restroom as we kept thinking about them. We made sure to keep everything off the floor but had to checked the bags again before we left, just to make sure. I'm sure it's not the owners fault, we can tell they take great pride in trying to keep it clean and care for the guest. We noticed them outside so I'm sure that's were the problem is. Nevertheless, it was lovely with the exemption of the bugs. When we go back to Yosemite again, we may try again but will want to make sure they have been 100% taken care of first. Thank you, have a blessed day.

Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Entfernung zum Yosemite Nationalpark ist angemessen, aber man sollte früh aufbrechen um im Park noch einen Parkplatz zu erhalten.

Just what you need after a long day at Yosemite
Just what you need...Comfortable bed, kitchen, fridge to hold your leftovers, and a hot shower with good water pressure. The cottage is at the top of San Francisco type hill, so have a car or be a good walker. It is an hour, by car, from the park. Covered parking. Not far from beer, restaurants and window shopping. Check out the Health Food Store down the street. Great prepared food and groceries. We will be back.

Quiet little Oasis
This rental is the perfect little get away for those looking to be close but in the Yosemite National Park, the pricing is beyond far, the host is extremely sweet, & it’s easy to find! We had an epic vacation & hope we can come back to Yosemite again someday (we will definitely stay at this rental again if so)!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was very clean upon our arrival and the host was very sweet and communicative. The scenic drive to/from Yosemite Valley is roughly 1.5 hours (in January). Would love to stay again if the opportunity arises!

Wonderful
This was one of our favorite places we stayed at. It's the perfect size for a small family of three with everything you need. It's very clean and very thoughtful. It's also the perfect location to explore Yosemite (about an hour to get to Lower Falls and an hour to get to Mariposa Grove). You can tell the hosts really put thought into everything and it really makes a difference.

Perfect Yosemite Base Camp
We were about 60-90 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Yosemite. The private back porch was a perfect place to unwind. Complimentary wine, equipped kitchen, and views over the Sierra foothills made the first stop of our honeymoon very memorable.

An oasis near Yosemite
This place is a gem, an hour's scenic drive from the park. We spent three days hiking in Yosemite, and relaxed every night "at home," fixing dinner in the full-sized kitchen. Highlights of the cottage: more spacious than it appears in photos; roomy updated bathroom with luxury towels; very quiet; very clean; nice patio; generous parking (including a covered space); nearby grocery; excellent coffee at Pony Expresso cafe across the street. A nice binder full of restaurant menus and local attractions offers ideas for outings. Vicki is a thoughtful and responsive host. We just loved our stay!

Great little cottage in Mariposa
We loved staying in the cottage. It was perfect for our day trips to Yosemite and exploring the cute little town of Mariposa. The cottage was clean and comfy. The futon couch folds down into a bed and the couch reclines for relaxing and watching tv after a long day of hiking. The covered parking is a bonus and only a few steps from the private entrance to the cottage. Our host was so thoughtful and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. We definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a cute, comfy, and homey place to stay near Yosemite National Park.
