Cozy Cabin, View of Fall Colors, 5 Min. to Buffalo River!

Located 10 minutes North of Jasper off Highway 7, just 5 minutes from Pruitt Landing on the Buffalo National River.

Summersweet Cottage is privately situated atop a hill providing beautiful Ozark views. The driveway is steep gravel so four wheel or all wheel drive is preferred to easily come and go.

The cottage features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, deck, laundry room with washer and dryer and kitchen. The central HVAC system makes the cottage comfortable all year round. All beds have white cotton sheets with fluffy down comforters and pillows for a blissful night of rest.

Bedrooms: Each bedroom is outfitted with quality mattresses and down bedding. There are end tables, reading lamps, closets with clothing hangers and wall hooks.

Livingroom: Gather around the coffee table to play one of the many provided board games, or snuggle up on the sofa to enjoy some entertainment on the 50" smart TV.

Main Bathroom: The bathroom has a bathtub and shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus a hair dryer and plenty of white towels and washcloths. Please note the property is on a septic system, so we kindly ask guests to only flush waste and toilet paper.

En suite Half Bath: New in 2024! We recently added a sweet little half bath off the primary bedroom which includes a toilet and vanity sink.

Dining/Kitchen: The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster and other small appliances. A coffee maker with complimentary coffee, cream and sweetener is provided. There are also pots and pans, baking sheets, dishes and silverware.

Laundry Room: The laundry room is located inside the cottage and has a washer and dryer along with complimentary laundry detergent. There is also an ironing board and iron.

Outdoors: The cottage sits atop a hill on 2 acres. It has a small deck on the front with two Adirondack chairs as well as a deck on the back with comfortable seating overlooking the Arkansas greenery.

Central HVAC: Central air conditioning and furnace heating are somewhat rare in this part of Arkansas. Most vacation rentals have window AC units and propane wall heaters. The central HVAC system creates a comfortable environment throughout all the rooms all year round.

Water: The cottage is on rural water which is similar to municipal water, not well water.

Additional Amenities:
- propane gas grill
- outdoor fire pit
- books, games, and puzzles
- beach towels
- lantern and headlamp
- bug spray
- sun screen

Guest access:
Entire cottage on 2+ acres!

Other things to note:
-The cottage has great Wifi and cellular signal, however there is no landline telephone. Please note the fireplace is not currently operational.

Wonderful Stay and Great Location
We stayed at this adorable cottage with our family and had a great time. The cottage is cozy, spotlessly clean, and has so many thoughtful extras. We appreciated having plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc for cooking meals. It was also great to have a washer and dryer. The beds were comfy and the cottage is up on a hill away from the highway so it was nice and quiet. As far as location goes - it’s less than 5 minutes from Pruitt Landing which was great for wading and enjoying the scenery, it’s also close to Jasper where there are a few shops and restaurants. Overall, we loved or stay and can’t wait to come back in the fall!

Wonderful!
My family had such a great time staying a few days here while we floated the Buffalo and explored the area. Off the beaten path just enough (but still close enough to a couple of restaurants and necessity shopping), we left the hustle and bustle of our usual lives behind and enjoyed this peaceful gem, perched high in a rocky forest clearing. The s’mores kit was a welcome surprise, which we enjoyed by the fire pit. This home had everything we needed and you could tell the host put some careful thought into their guests’ stays. Can’t wait to come back during the fall!

Beautiful secluded getaway!
We stayed at this super cute cottage for our anniversary and couldn’t have been more impressed! It was very nicely decorated, sparkling clean and had literally everything we could possibly need. I love watching birds and the back porch overlooking nothing but woods was perfection to enjoy my morning coffee with a host of “friends”. We loved how secluded and quiet it was and how comfy the beds were and Rachel was super responsive to any questions we had. Overall one of the top 3 vrbo’s we've stayed at - definitely recommend!

Just a very homey and inviting cabin, end secluded on top of a hill with a great view to the south.
This property is rustic but modern. We had no needs where the amenities existed. We were never bothered by anyone dropping by. This is a cottage I would recommend to any friend. Great stay-just too short. We’ll be back.

Fall Color Visit
This hillside cottage overlooking the Ozarks was perfect for our getaway weekend. Everything you need is included. The place was easy to find, clean and the perfect size and located just minutes from the quaint town of Jasper. Close to plenty of things to do including the the Buffalo River area. Numerous hiking trails close by and river access too. Absolutely beautiful area. The drive from Russellville to Jasper was gorgeous with views to blow your mind. The host was very accommodating and we would recommend this to everyone looking for an Ozark Mountain stay!

Oh my Lanza!! This spot was so beautiful my husband and I loved it so much we can’t wait to return. We grilled and enjoyed ☆ gazing at night and it was so close to so many off road opportunities due to being a “jeepster”! The hosts were great with assisting with any question! Can’t wait to return…. Won’t be soon enough.

Wonderful, clean, private cabin!
A friend and I met up here to relax and catch up and it was everything we could have asked for! The hosts have clearly thought through the space, providing a well-outfitted kitchen, comfy beds, and even trail guides, beach towels, sunscreen, and bug spray. The driveway was steep and unpaved, as described in the listing, and the host reached out to confirm that we had seen that since there had been a lot of rain just before our arrival - I appreciated that! We ate at Neighbor's Mill Bakery in Harrison - 10/10, delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends! Lots of great hiking and paddling within an hour of the cabin.

We had a great time staying in this little cottage. It’s homey and so cute. We had everything we needed and the grocery store was close by for things we had to grab. The driveway up was rough, but we were forewarned by the host. Our host gave great recommendations of places to go 👍 comfy beds.

Truly cozy
This little cabin is the most cozy place we have ever stayed ! The decor is adorable, the view is stunning, the location is magical and full of both adventure and relaxation, and the it is so well stocked! The little balcony porch off the back is the perfect place to relax in the morning and drink coffee, we all found ourselves feeling drawn to that area throughout the day as well though. The fire pit area Is such a nice place to spend the evenings, the stars here are lovely and bright. The kitchen is honestly a lot of fun to cook in - it is adorable and well stocked with a fantastic gas stove and a set up where everyone can help cook or you can still be part of everything. We loved the little details like the phone chargers by the bed and the nook with books and games, we had a rainy afternoon and evening while there and it felt so nice to grab a book and sit outside on the back porch watching the rain and then following with a board game with the kids after dinner. Also the guide books were great to use while there! My daughter really loved the yard and the mossy bit under the tree with the stones felt so magical to her . Honestly I am gushing because it was just a really great place. It is also in a great area, route 7 is a scenic biway and gorgeous to drive on, highly recommend exploring lost valley and twin/triple falls, and making sure you have a 4 wheel drive to both get up to the cabin as well as going to see triple falls during your stay.
