It never happened
This property canceled on me one hour before check in for a three night stay. I slept in Walmart parking lot because VRBO couldn’t find appropriate accommodations. VRBO offered to pay for one night with my credit card, then reimbursed the next day. Then I would have to check out at 11:00 and check into a different place for next two nights that I pay. This took over an hour on the phone, mostly on hold. I had plans that made the check out and then in impossible. Done with VRBO, the fees are too high anyways.

Beautiful location
Had a great time in a beautiful setting! A 2 minute walk from the water and then convenient store. A couple minute drive and you're at Fayz which had some pretty good food. The neighbors in the campground were absolutely amazing and friendly. A great, quiet place to spend a weekend!!

Getaway with the grands
Spent 4 days rotating grandchildren in and out to enjoy some rafting, swimming, kayaking and fishing. All had a great time. Camper was as expected per listing and we had no problems accommodating everyone. The wood deck made hanging outside in the evening much more enjoyable. Will most definitely try this again next year!

It was a nice stay
Nice location. We enjoyed it and had planned on returning. But most likely will not after we were accused of destroying the property. We cleaned up and did not leave a mess however they said we ruined blankets and said we left the camper a disaster. I have pictures of the camper as we left out. Took pictures of our kids with silly faces. It was not a wreck. We didn’t make beds. And there might have been dirt or dust dragged in from outside. The call I received from the owner was incredibly off putting and I was very upset by how I was treated. He literally had me in tears and he called several times. My spouse had to take my phone from me because I was so anxious and stressed over the situation. We wanted to return but we will not after that. We go on lake stays often and have never had any problems. We had a family member come out and grill with us both nights. So there were several people on the property. And we admitted to that and if it was wrong we apologized. The management of the camp ground told us several times how well behaved our kids were and thanked us for our business. She even mentioned that we were quiet and a pleasure to have. It was a great stay and we honestly enjoyed it so much up until being treated the way we were. We would never disrespect or destroy anyones property. It was a disappointing experience.

Quiet and Peaceful
Very quiet, peaceful, the staff and other residents were very friendly. Had minor problem with the potty, but the owner was out to help in minutes. Had a nice break. Thank You Mike!!

We had a wonderful time! The camper was beautiful inside and out. It was extremely clean. When we first walked in it smelled amazing and just made you feel right at home. It’s in a perfect location. There is several boat ramps near by and several amazing restaurants. We had a blast.

Not what I expected
The camper was very nice and the renters were nice and responsive. There was a fire pit so we had Smores. The description made it sound like an ideal camping location. That was not the case. The camper is actually at an RV park where the RVs are very close together in an open unshaded lot. Many people use the location as their permanent residence. There were no other kids and no onsite playground. (Playground was not mentioned in description but commonly found at campgrounds.) People weren't that friendly as they could tell we were out of place. The walking distance beach was sub par. We encountered dead fish washing up on shore. Also when people launched their boat they were pulling it up on the beach that was designated for swimming even though they were not suppose to. Not ideal for kids swimming. Kayak rentals were also offered. I was told it was done on site and requested 2 tandem kayaks as there we 3 kids (6 and under) and 2 adults. They provided 2 singles and wanted $60 per day for each. We would have also had to walk them 15-20 yards to launch them. There was no outdoor grill. The oven did not work nor did the microwave. Overall the location is not family friendly. We made the best of things and the kids had fun.
