Independent Manhattan hotels

"My stay here was uneventful, the only thing was that I wanted to walk to one of the restaurants that’s about 3/4 of a mile away, and because it’s snowing, there are no easy ways to walk. The streets are plowed, just fine, but the sidewalks not so much All in all, a very good stay, staff was very nice, the room was very clean and spacious. One thing though, I was gonna take a bath, but some black specs were coming out out of the bathtub spout. I assume rust or debris. Not so with the shower spigot. "

"This place doesnt pretend to be something they are not. The place is a little older but it looks fantastic. Everyone were friendly. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was great. The pool and hot tub area were great. Definitely coming back!"

"The hotel concept was cute…retro fitted 1960s hotel. But the overall experience was probably only a 6 out of 10. It still felt like an old hotel room. The tv was impossible to navigate. There were some darling touches but it fell short "
