"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

It is just a short stroll to Santo Stefano's main shops and restaurants, but in a quiet, residential location without traffic noise...just the sound of the waves. "The first available place is Porto St. Stefano is although 11 km. it is 22-23 minutes driving on very dangerous curving road stripped by abysses. Distance from the sea: approx 390 meters, very steeped. Air condition only in one room, sherd building, it is not possible to let the cold elsewhere. No wifi phone sigh is weak you can't create mobil net. Owner only speak Italian. Many thanks to Celice, the manger at the pool, ho help me with translation and in everything."
