This property is convenient, inexpensive, and generally "okay!" The place is kind of a weird mix of being fixed up (new tiled floors! nice TV set-up!) and old (dirty-looking carpets, stained pillows, broken door on the microwave oven).
The positives include:
Really easy access to the property (including parking), basically zero-time check-in, the little heaters totally worked, the water was hot, the appliances looked like they worked (we didn't cook at all), lots of clean towels, there was an automatic ice-maker with clean ice...
The 3 sort-of big negatives were:
1) The couch smelled kind of old and dirty - just sitting down on it, you would get a whiff of that "old head smell." We ended up putting a sheet/towel down as a barrier.
2) When we pulled out the couch, we found some dark crinkly hairs on the mattress. You know the kind... :(
3) It's just super duper tiny. The bedroom is an okay size, but the queen bed basically takes up the entire room. They should have put a full bed in there instead, but I can see how advertising a queen would be more advantageous for the renters. Likewise, the living room /dining room is also itty bitty. I cannot imagine 4 adult humans trying to stay in this condo. 3 was really pushing it. 2 adults and 2 kids would also be a very tight squeeze.
Overall, it was what it claimed to be. But 4.5 stars it is not. I would say it's a solid 3.5. (The little hairs nudged that down to a 3, but that was probably an anomaly - or just a nice present from the previous house guests.)
