"The apartment is spacious and there is plenty of room for a family. The building is old and you can tell the owner did some updates, but it still has the bones of an older building. The interior stairs are older and have lots of wear on the treads so they are uneven, so if you have mobility issues, maybe do some research. "This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. "We enjoyed the pond with swimming, Kayaking and tubing! We had a few nights of sitting around the fire and going a little more than a mile to town for ice cream. We visited six flags and Saratoga racing and a day of boating on Saratoga lake and came back to a quiet retreat in the woods. The house was clean and relaxing with everything you need to enjoy some downtime. We would love to come back again! I do recommend bug spray as a prior vacationer did."
