"Had an amazing 3 night stay at Taj Mahal Towers in January. Everything about this trip was indulgent, magical and pure luxury. From the blessing on entering the lobby, to the wonderful welcome from Jay at check-in, to entering our room with a view directly to the Gateway to India (it was a pleasure to sit in the room and watch the sunrise through the gateway). The room was modern and clean, the only downside was that our room was opposite the lift but all sea view rooms were on the side of the lifts. We had a very calm and serene breakfast alfresco each morning by the pool and the waiters were extremely attentive. High tea at Sea Lounge was a fabulous experience, with the Indian street food a tasty surprise option. Once again the waiting staff were delightful. Cannot fault anything in our stay and if staying in Mumbai again, the Taj Mahal towers would be my only choice. Thank you to all the team for making our stay unforgettable. "

"The Trident is situated with a beautiful view over Marine Drive if you choose a sea facing room. It’s one of the key vistas of Mumbai. It’s located right next door to a performing arts venue (the NCPA). Sadly our dates did not coincide with Zubin Mehta’s visit to Mumbai. The restaurants on site are good. It is a bit of a trek to other eateries but taxis from the streets to either side of the hotel are good and very reasonable. I recommend walking down the ramp to get a taxi rather than having them call one up the ramp for you. The Trident is convenient for all sights in South Mumbai - the Chatrapatti Shivaji Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Oval Maidan, the upmarket shopping area of Kala Ghoda are all actually within walking distance. All in all, with its excellent service, pool, spa and other facilities the Trident is to be highly recommended. "
