"I stayed here on a short trip with a friend's family. The exterior was lovely, and the interior had a nice atmosphere so that the children were happy the moment they opened the door. But more than that, the most comfortable thing was that even though we sent the owner many questions before staying, they were all answered so nicely. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit....

"We had a great spring break stay and loved the house! The kids had so much fun playing air hockey and ping pong, there were treats for our pup, and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax after a long day of hiking. Also a great location- we had ice cream every day! Our kiddos insist we only stay here when we visit going forward- so much fun!"
