“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything available on site, but also very easy walking distance to Funchal centre. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful & breakfast was a delicious choice of fresh & cooked food. “Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper.”

“We booked 10 nights for an Ocean Suite - 2 adults with 2 kids (10&12). It was more a Parking Suite view, with the Ocean in the background... Spa was great, food was great, staff was great. In case you are a family like us, the Ocean Suite is a bit small - is more like a bigger studio with sliding doors (for delimiting the bedroom). Please note that from bathroom there is a open view directly in the bedroom - weird concept :D. I would recommend Ocean suite for 2 persons not 4. Overall , I'll……

“Sehr zentral gelegen. Innenstadt, Seilbahn usw. innerhalb weniger Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Gute Aussicht an der Seeseite zum Hafen. Außenbereich sehr großzügig mit Bewirtung, Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeit am Außenpool.”

“I enjoyed my time very much here. I loved that there was parking but depending on the time day of you came back it was often full (only fits about 17 cars), and you had to get creative with parking elsewhere (5 creative spots). If all the creative spots were gone then you would have to park ten minutes away, which luckily didn’t happen to us in early April 2025. I would imagine during high season parking would be very difficult, so don’t stay out too late with your car!! The location was not……

“房間沒有冷氣風扇，與hotel.com所描述不同，故房間較熱。另外，洗澡水外淺，令地板全濕。床墊開始舊，有下榻情況。景觀開揚，有小型厨房，空間較大，洗澡水夠熱，毛巾隔天更換但天天執房。酒店附近多食店亦有超市，巴士站，泳灘等。酒店有免費接駁車往市中心，但我沒有使用過。早餐有面包，生果，可可米，乳酪及芝士火腿蛋等，不是好味，亦不難吃。”
