"First impressions as walk was oh my god all the woodm after entering its dang more wood. The views were respendant and the noise wass outdoors with the rare car far off in the distance. "This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again. "

"Property was very clean, and had everything we needed for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table, and a visiting kitty who checked on us every day. Nice outdoor spaces too, we had a bonfire one nite and it was very easy to do. Walkable to downtown and the harbor. "

"Living/dining room has Lake view, roomy & relaxing for our 8 adults/2 kids for a week. We knew no washer/dryer but regretted it. Someone had to sit in Grand Marais laundromat while others had fun. Bedrooms roomy! Some had shelves instead of dressers, some lacked blackout blinds, heat downstairs uneven, some had nightstand with lamp on only one side of the bed. Probably a one time thing, but kitchen chopping board was caked with food & smelly stuff in waste basket. Enjoyed the pool table. Good...

"We stayed at this property for 4 days and it was perfect, the view is amazing, it’s bigger in person than what the pictures show. it was very spacious, the campfire area was beautiful, its very quiet but we did have a stranger walk up on the property though so make sure you are locking the doors! "Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two. "

"We loved this cabin, and it has been one part of our best experiences with Lake Superior. We came in the end of summer. It is quiet and with access to the shore and Lake Superior. In the cabin, it has almost everything you will need for entertaining your family, friends and yourself. Plenty of games (puzzle, chess, board games) if you came with friends and kids. Every day is so sunny and beautiful, we watched the sunrise and sunset, nothing can compete with the view. "
