"We stayed 2 nights for a music festival. Hotel is in a nicely renovated old downtown building with a free city parking lot across the street. Walking distance from Blues Museum and Ground Zero Blues Club. Area around the hotel is kind of rundown with not a lot of people walking around the streets at night but it felt safe enough. Hotel felt kind of like a large bed & breakfast in that it has a shared kitchen and a self-service bar in the lobby and there’s lots of opportunities to get to know the other guests and manager/owners. We would stay there again. "

"Bed was comfortable. Although everything you need for an overnight stay was provided the room was generally a bit tired looking but then that is reflected in the price. Breakfast was very limited, bread, muffins, cereal etc "

"Great place to stay for a night. We used this as our stop on the way to New Orleans. The city is full of murals and has live music (cover charges apply) on the weekends. The hostel is beautiful, very nice place to stay. Everything is basically brand new. "
