"This is a wonderful mountain getaway on a working horse farm minutes from downtown Lexington. From the moment we booked, almost a month in advance, we received great communication from our Host Doris. Our accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. Doris provided fresh eggs and milk and all of the drawers were well stocked with spices and cookware. Both Doris and Dennis made time for us to chat when we saw them during our stay. We appreciated their hospitality and their charming getaway....

"The location was great. Adequate for the base price. The place itself was comfortable but could really use some updates, particularly in the kitchen. It was disappointing that for such a high property fee, you did not get access to any of the amenities at the aquatic and fitness center. "

"We had a great stay in this lovely house! It looks fantastic and surrounded by beautiful nature. We took a few easy trails in the resort. The shamokin falls trail was gorgeous, but our swim at Paul's Creek waterslides is one to always remember. And for me the black Bear in the direct surrounding was an absolute highlight!"

"We enjoyed this property. We were visiting VMI for family weekend Well stocked, plenty of room, comfortable and homey. Lots of added touches like snacks and some basic foods (bread, milk eggs, cereal) to get folks started. Workout equipment! Nicely decorated. Beautiful views with a lovely patio. Would stay again."
