"Beautiful old school grand hotel. Would be perfect for a weekend getaway. I was passing through, just a one night last minute booking. The hotel had a wedding booked so the restaurant and bar were closed. The hotel staff messaged me ahead of time to warn me, but I didn’t receive in time. Unfortunately, there is nothing within walking distance. It would have been nice if they offered room service or to send a bottle of wine to the room. It all worked out. "Bon accueil. Hotel rénové avec le charme des anciens hôtels thermaux. Grande chambre confortable mais le chauffage fonctionnait dans la salle de bain, pas dans la chambre. Pas de sèche-cheveux et un seul savon et un seul gel douche pour deux. Peut-être un oubli ?"

"Great location for exploring the area and the hotel is lovely, very charming with plenty of parking. We didn't eat at the hotel as we wanted to explore the town and there is lots of places to choose from, all walkable within 5-10 minutes. Lovely hotel but we were just passing through so not enough time to fully appreciate the hotel amenities"

"This hotel is fine. Next to the slopes . A few steps to get up to the lift . Livigno is good, plenty of scope for skiing . We did half board , but wouldn’t next time . The resort is much cheaper than France. So eating out was cheap . The food in the hotel was fine … but not really to our taste . We parked underground at the hotel . Room was basic , …but fine . We had a good break "

"Great staff, good food, beautiful views. The private Tschuggen Express cable car is extremely convenient and takes you right to all the hiking trails. Pass for all the Arosa cable cars is included. Only small drawback for the summer, is there is no AC, but it's perfectly safe to just keep the balcony door open at night to cool the room down."

"Not made welcome by staff except the chiefs at breakfasts and young receptionist who made the only effort all week to communicate with our skiing group of four. Hotel heating broken room very hot first day, but no heating there after for the week however towel rail was warm in en-suite. Floors dirty and towels very shabby. "We stayed in the Suite Chalet with balcony and in-suite sauna room. I must say that this place is exceptional. The room has such a lovely rustic vibe and is the ultimate comfort for a couple. "Well done---simple, basic , not complicated and as expected. I used the location as a base by which to explore the mountains. Close to some excellent restaurants in Bormeo and elsewhere. BEAUTIFUL VIEW from the room Breakfast cosi cosi, but OK. And at the end, the owner gave me excellent advice and directions to get to my next stop--and it wasn't easy--maps and GPS don't quite do the job in that area. Well done"

"Had to switch rooms, the room that was booked was not adequate but with an upgrade fee, we were able to stay in a much better room with an amazing view. Seems as if they don't want to mention the upgrade fee at first but will tell you that this room is what we have but with some prompting, found that an upgrade was needed to get a much better room. Breakfast was included which was amazing. "

"Reasonable pricing. Restaurant was closed but pizzeria was open. Old building and the sound travels from the halls and occupants nearest to you. Views are beautiful though so that made up for the noise. We did a big drive so still slept well. Staff are lovely and helpful "
