This place is a gem! It was big in size and very clean. There was cute vintage charm everywhere and it had recently been updated/remodeled with new finishes. The bed was large and comfortable; plenty of pillows and extra blankets were provided. The bathroom had a large claw foot tub that had great water pressure- having a hot shower after a long day was so relaxing. We didn’t really use the kitchen, but it was a decent size. My only suggestion to the owner would be to provide a microwave, dish towels, and maybe basic cooking supplies like salt/pepper/cooking spray. Again, We didn’t cook at all, but a microwave would’ve been nice to reheat leftovers.
Smart TV had lots of options and a really cool retro Mario game on it.
The location of this place was perfect! It was so close to downtown, distilleries, and delicious restaurants. Very walkable to a coffee shop, brunch place, liquor store, and other places. Parking was easy to find in front of the house (there are two units here, the other one is below this place- both units are owned by the host).
I had to contact the owners a couple times and they were quick to respond and very friendly. We talked via text; I did not hear back from them on the app.
Overall this place is great! I would highly recommend staying here. It was a lovely experience- thank you to the host for providing us with a wonderful place to stay for my birthday weekend!
