Felt like home

We absolutely loved this house and had a great stay - we will definitely be returning. The house is very cute and well decorated, and although it isn’t a big house, it was the perfect size for our group (2 adults, a toddler and 2 large dogs). The property is nice as well with lots of trees and grass. There is a large area for the fire pit and it also has a fenced in section perfect for dogs. It was so hot during our stay that we didn’t get to enjoy the outside features much or take advantage of the kayaks provided by the owner but hopefully next time.

Cute house

Great house, new appliances and furniture. Well decorated. Basic amenities lacking a bit (coffee for morning, paper products) and far from water. But very comfy and good for what we needed.

The house was very cute & super clean. Loved having the fenced yard for my doggies. Wifi was not great & the front screen door sticks a little, so dogs can push through easily. I think it would be a great idea to have a guest signature book. I was going to get one & also leave pictures of my dogs....the great Dane pictures were too cute

Wonderful Thanksgiving

Nice, clean property. Great for dogs. Cooking was easy, kitchen had plenty of utensils. Grocery store is 15 mins away. We used the firepit as well and it was great

Lake Anna with adult family

Very well appointed and decorated house with a nice fenced in yard and fire pit area. Super comfortable - furniture and debs. Great location. Lake hikes, fifty-three winery, and short rides to Civil War battlefields. Fill your days with adventure and then enjoy a fire outside in a beautiful spot. Worked very well for our family : 4 adults: 2 parents and 2 20+ yr old adult children. Highly recommend. Will go back.

Peaceful very secluded

Overall we enjoyed our stay there are things that need to be repaired rotted wood on back deck I moved a pot over it to cover so we didn't step in it , the weather strip on back door was coming off , def need a motion light to cover walking to and from fire pit area its very dark . The biggest issue we had was we were given the wrong code for the door and couldn't open the key box at the back of house , thank goodness the lawn caretaker was there and he contacted the proper person to have code reset so we could get in the door and he also checked if we could get in alil earlier considering we had just drove in from IL for a family funeral. He was our savior , didn't catch his name but he is awesome and def deserves a raise. And before I close my review the house could use alil more detail to cleaning , I cleaned the water dispenser on the fridge the filter needs changed water tasted funny , I had to wash utensils and cups before we used there was some very hard to clean sticky stuff on alot of the kitchen items , and we purchased more toilet paper and paper towels .

Perfect place for our group. Comfortable beds. Not on the lake, but close enough to everything we were interested in. Monticello, UVA, Montpelier, and Culpeper are all within driving distance.

Loved my stay here.

I loved my month long stay here. The house was sparkling clean and very well appointed. The Lake Therapy house is very comfortable. Beds and couches were very cozy. It had everything I needed, lots of extra soft blankets and pillows and even a brand new crockpot. Very easy key pad entry and the washer and dryer worked great. It was a quiet and peaceful trip. Just what I was looking for.

Thanksgiving in VA

It was peaceful & nice. However, we were not able to get into the property till the next day because the entry code did not work and the people in the office did not know about the lockbox in back. We had to stay at a hotel almost an hour away. When I tried to do a load of laundry the machine would not go through the spin cycle. Had to wring everything out by hand before placing in the dryer.

Scenic Perfection

The pictures do not do this home justice. Everything was immaculately clean, the house was nicely updated and the property has everything you could possibly want or need there for you. Our dogs absolutely loved staying here as well. We were all very comfortable, it truly felt like home away from home.

Cleanest rental I've ever experienced

This place is equipped with everything you would ever need (except laundry detergent and coffee kcups. You'll want to bring those yourself) and SO clean! It feels brand new. The host was communicative and friendly. The property around the house is fantastic: fenced in back yard for the dog, well working grill, quaint and well kept fire pit, etc. The one thing I will say is that the boat slip is not within walking distance which was a bit misleading on the listing. You do have to drive, but there is space to park at the dock so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. I just think it should be more clear that the house itself is not on the water.
