This modern, California-style, hillside villa with ocean views is located in the residential Punta Arena private gated community, conveniently situated on the Cabo San Lucas 'Tourist Corridor' within a mile and a half (1.5mi) of downtown Cabo San Lucas. The home is decorated in a contemporary, comfortable style that makes it easy to settle in, relax, and enjoy your stay. No other property in Punta Arena compares in the quality of interior decor and comfort!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice view to the cabo arch. The house had everything my family of 7 needed. Its relatively closed to Medano beach but you do need transportation. The communication with the owner was great!

Great place for a family, location close to all the action and beaches(uber/taxi)
Overall the place is great! The view of the Arch and the ocean was really amazing for morning coffee and wine/drinks in the evening after busy touristy things during the day. Kitchen: everything you need to make food if that is what you choose to do. Fresco is only about 0.5 mile walk(dirt/dusty road mostly), or $3 Uber ride one way. There is a dishwasher, plenty of plates, silverware and drinkware. Bathrooms: Half bathroom upstairs, full bathroom in the primary suit and Jack/Jill between two other bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements: Good linens/pillows/mattresses. We had 3 teenage boys with us. 2 slept in the bedroom that had 2 twin beds and 1 on the pull out couch. Warning that the pullout couch is not good at all, mattress is old and even a 100lbs kid could feel the frame. He ended up just sleeping on the folded couch. Not a big deal if you are not counting on the 4th "bed" for someone to sleep on. General area: Quick Uber trip to most of the popular areas(Chilleno and Santa Maria beach, Marina and downtown Cabo). Average ride one way was about $8. There are 2 pools in the development we didn't use, NO GYM. There is not really a great area to go for a run, at least not in the 90 degree heat since there is a lot of new constructions around and all the roads are dirt. There is a seafood place Pata Salada only about 0.3 mil away that was amazing! Good food, drinks, service, view and price(half of what you would pay at the marina). Other: I had a hick up getting all the info re: check in code and map of the place, but Dawn communicated frequently and got it all to me as soon as she could. If you can pre-arrange your transfer from the airport, do so. I found 1 for $135 round trip, but didn't book and ended up paying $210 at the airport. Also, keep your little paper they give you at customs(bottom of your declaration form) because that is your VISA and they will ask for it when you check in for your flight out of Mexico. If you lose it they will charge you $650 pesos(they only take pesos) which is about $35 bucks. And BUGS: listen.... we were there mid July and occasional ant, mosquito or some other creature when it is 95degrees and 45% humidity would pop up, but really not that big of a deal. Same time last year in Florida my family lost about 3 units of blood from the mosquitos. It might be different in the spring/fall, but we also spent minimal amount of time in the house If we ever visit Cabo again we would absolutely stay at this place.

Bug problem with this listing
I noticed there were small bugs that looked like ants that were running around the floors. They were smaller the normal ants and they were ferocious. My son and I both had bites on our feet that burned an itch for over a week. You'd scratch so long your feet would bleed. We found them in our beds after the first couple of days.

He he views are as spectacular as advertised! Many a morning and evening were spent on the patio soaking in the views. Overall the unit is very well appointed and in a very convenient location. There is also a new high end grocery store (Fresko) within walking distance. There were some minor maintenance issues which have been communicated to the host but they did not detract from the stay. We would gladly book this unit in the future! One note IMO you need to rent a car if you are staying in this unit while there are some walking distance restaurants and shops the road does not have a sidewalk and in one direction is not paved, we found it especially unsafe to walk after dark Additionally to walk anywhere toward town or the beach you would have to cross a highway with no good cross walks or pedestrian bridges . We also had issues getting Uber’s in a timing love you manner. None of this is on the owner/host but wanted to provide our perspective to other potential renters.

For the most part it was a great place to stay. However there were a few problems. There was no hot water in the master bath. 2 of the chairs outside were coming apart. a door in the bathroom was coming off so we didn't touch it. The light on the stove indicated that a burner was on although it was not - we were a little worried there might be a short. Some of th plates were chipped - just didn't want to be blamed for that. otherwise it was a really good place to stay

Wonderful Getaway
The property has a beautiful view, as it’s in a centralized location, about 15 minutes from downtown. Costco was about 1/2 a mile. The beach nearest to the property is pretty rough, but Chileno beach and El Medano were nice to swim in and very close by. The property was very safe with 24 hr surveillance. Everything we needed for our trip we found in the home. Towels, buggy-boards, umbrella, a beach chair, and even inflatables. My family had a wonderful time!!!

We loved this property, the managers, and the convenient location. It was clean, comfortable, had a great view, had all needed amenities outside of shampoo and conditioner, was in a safe neighborhood, was a $4 uber ride from town, and was far enough away from the noise of the partiers in the downtown area. We even got to see fireworks from weddings that were being held on the beach while we were there. We would highly recommend staying at this property if you are visiting Cabo.

Just right!
The property is a 10 minute Uber ride down to all of the action. It is situated across the highway between two beaches so you have options (there are chairs and umbrella in downstairs closet!). It was spacious, peaceful and exactly what we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and devices for cooking or making margs. Thanks Dawn! -fellow Philly folks

Lovely stay in Cabo!
This space was wonderful for our family with kids ages 8 and 5. There was plenty of space, and we found the kitchen stocked with many supplies for cooking our own meals which was an added benefit. The beach supplies were very handy as we traveled to different beaches in the area as well. We received directions in advance and Dawn is very responsive to our inquires. We did not get an address for the house, and found it after some "exploring" the area, so it may help to get the address prior to arrival as well. Thanks for a great stay, we will hope to be back again for another lovely time in paradise.

this was a nice house, though needs to be updated. the view is not like posted. the owner has no control over it as the built a house right in front and soon to build another one beside that one. so it will only be a peak-a-boo view. sad because the oner did have at one time a beautiful view.

Great view!
We enjoyed this house. For the price I think it is a steal. The bedrooms had a lot of built ins and closet space which I appreciate because I like to fully unpack. We never saw a lot of people in the neighbourhood and felt very safe. We grilled out a couple of nights and their is a really big nice gas grill in the pool area. The view alone was worth what we paid for the week. Dawn answered all of my questions and we had no issues!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cabo at Dawns place! She was very helpful and responsive to requests and questions. The place is really nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. It worked perfect for our family of 5. The place has an amazing view of playa medeno and el arco. It was about a 10 min drive into central cabo and playa medeno. I highly recommend renting a car. We were able to find parking pretty easily when we went into Cabo and there are some nice, less crowded, beaches with no vendors about a 15 min drive up the 1. We loved Chileno beach! Beautiful beach, quiet and great snorkeling.

Huge disappointment!
I booked this home with the intention of it living up to everything listed.Sadly it was everything but that. We paid $$$ thinking the more you pay the more quilty of a place and amenities you receive. Let's talk about customer service,well theres none! Horrible customer service, getting back to us 2 days later after countless emails and calls. The home fell short. With signs posted if we used electricity more then was aloud we would be charged $50 more in a,place like Cabo come on absolutely ridiculous! They don't advertise that anywhere on here. Let's talk about kitchen and amnesties! Wow,talk about kitchen everything in the kitchen from dishes to cookware was in broken or in usable condition. Broken cups,chipped dishes all cooking utensils all melted and dirty with rust and corrosion. Tiny bugs everywhere in the kitchen. We left fruits and vegetables out only to find them in the morning covered in bugs. They didn't proved any extra paper towel. We traveled with our family and wanted to do movie night however we couldn't get the TV and Netflix to work after making several attempts to the homeowner property management,finally a lady came out but started marking snarky comments about how the men in the house should know how to fix it and how she had no idea what she was doing.. extreamly disappointed with that service after paying X amount of dollars you would expect everything in the home to be in working order even if there's a man in the home we are on vacation not there to fix her rental property.. however after two days from not hearing from anybody my husband and father spent two nights rewiring her TV to get it working finally she responded they would have to get professional out responding two days later! Reviewing this home from what is listed on home-away there was a lot of things that were promised and we're not delivered there was no covered carport in the description it says there is. The home was extreamly difficult to find even when speaking and understanding Spanish fully. Our cab driver had a really haard time finding it. So be warned! There were also signs on the fridge that you had to press it shut there was no icemaker. In mine and my families opinion this house needs to be totally updated fridge dishwasher stove all the kitchen utensils cooking pans washer & dryer. There were signs all over things telling us how to work things because it was broken. Fridge had tape holding it together. I wouldn't recommend staying.
