"What a gem! As we drove up the winding driveway we wondered what we had booked. Built in 1891, this beautiful home is lovely. We received a warm welcome from Fiona on arrival. Our room was very spacious with lovely views. The bathroom was a good size and had plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep before getting up early to make the morning sailing of the Spirit of Tasmania. I was a little worried about how far it was to the terminal but needn’t have been. Fiona assured us it was not far at all and she, of course, was right. It was actually nice to stay in Latrobe, quiet and just a short drive to the IGA and restaurants. We dined at the local pub before coming back to our room for a cuppa. Fiona was kind enough to make us an early breakfast and it was delicious. Set us for the day with orange juice, cereal, toast, bacon, eggs and tomato. There was also yoghurt if you wanted. The food was perfectly cooked. We were a bit sad we weren’t staying another night. Lucinda B&B is a lovely place to stay and so reasonably priced. Being here is not just a nights accommodation, it is an experience. We loved it. Thank you Fiona for a special memory."

"Very clean and tidy. Suited out needs. Only complaints were that soap and not body wash provided and the free wi-fi was incredibly slow. Otherwise a great stay."

"We love the countryside around the property and beautiful views of Mt Roland. The walk around 'the block' is enjoyed by all our family. We stayed there over Christmas and Debbie, the manager, even kindly offered us the use of a Christmas tablecloth. Thank you for a lovely time."

"Accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. Quiet location that is still close to Sheffield. Very relaxing to sit on the patio soaking in the quiet calm of the forest and watching wallabies, pademelons and birds in the mornings and at dusk. Some games were also provided so we had some good family fun playing monopoly after dinner. Thanks Bruna & John for a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay! "

"Glencoe is a lovely old house with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Irene was extremely welcoming and informative. The room was comfortable with a really comfortable bed. The ensuite was on the small size, but that is hardly surprising as the house would not originally have been built with one and it was certainly not a problem so long as there was only one person in it at a time. I wouldn't mark it down for that. Catering for breakfast was superb with no chance of leaving the table hungry. The guests sitting room was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone."
