I booked with you, a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, aged 6 and 8. This room was for my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren.
They arrived at Travelodge London Ealing at 10.30pm, paid for the family room, it then took time to find a parking space. Returned to hotel at 11.00pm, went to room to find 1 double and 1 single bed!!! Receptionist, then apologised, said she had no more beds. It was now after 11.00pm, and with 2 small children, (and having paid), it was too late to start looking for another Hotel.
At 11.30, a lady (housekeeper) arrived at the room, to enquire what was missing from the room.
At 11-45 lady & man arrived with a bed base. No mattress, no pillow, no duvet, no bed linen.
Sometime after midnight a lady arrived with a king sized duvet, still no mattress, no pillow, no linen.
Obviously a dreadful night and experience.
I strongly feel that Travelodge should at least refund the cost of the stay, and some some form of compensation should be offered.
