"We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all. "Very clean cabin with a great view. Everything was clean and neat. There's a hot tub on the porch which was perfect for soaking and looking at the stars on a night that would otherwise be too cold to be outside. In the morning we were able to watch a family of deer play in the field out front and saw a group of turkeys wander through. I would definitely stay here again."

"We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"

"The Cabin is secluded, but close to Spruce Pine and Little Switzerland. There was no internet or cable on our visit, which was disappointing, as we had hoped to cuddle up and watch Christmas movies. There isn't central heat, it's a split unit, and I didn't feel like it was as warm as the degree it was set on; however, overall, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom had many items you may have forgotten."
