Lovely location and very relaxing. Only disappointment was with the cleanliness of our cabin floor.
Amazing staff with a friendly welcoming attitude.
Areas for all ages and abilities.
The place is slightly run down but after only being under new management for a short time I'm sure this will be attended to in no time!
Very friendly hosts . Cabin clean, bed comfortable, and the wildlife all around. Exceptionally good stay. Would definately stay again

Open bushland setting with ptivate individual cabin. Well appointed open plan. Great fire we could set yet also with air conditioning. Ma.y outdoor activities and need adult supervision and a check on equipment safety before using.

The concept of the place is excellent but everything is run down and in need of upgrading
Kids had a complete ball at Gumleaves. They loved trekking around the grounds, the camp fires and especially the flying fox!
Cabins were rustic but well equipped and the electric blanket on double bed was certainly a bonus and nice touch. House and camp fires were great. We were there out of Tassie school hols and kids had free reign of the place and facilities, which was awesome. On down side the kids wouldn't leave the place to explore the surrounding area so we were a stones throw from some of the most beautiful places in Tassie but didn't see them!
Adult supervision required for most activities.
A bit of TLC needed in some areas but overall didn't bother us.
Thank you for a great stay.

Great stay for kids
Plenty of outdoor activities to keep the kids amused & busy. They would be up early in the morning racing about. We especially liked the obstacle course and boating on the lake. However, the boats could probably do with an upgrade on oars. Was a nice stay, being able to light a fire outdoors & cook jacket potatoes. Overall a good experience for the family.
The floor was dirty. Everyone has to boil their water and that's not so bad but this was also full of sediment. So why not provide some drinkable water? One thin pillow each. Poor quality linen. No electric plug near the mirrror. Etc
Paid $10 less per night for a beaut new cabin on Bruny. Manager told us the tank water was topped up from the dam- the same dam where kids were swimming and canoeing. No mention of having to boil the water to drink on Wot-If advertising otherwise we would not have booked it. No wonder the booking was non- refundable. We would have liked to walk straight out after the 1st night with the noisy water pump turning on while we attempted sleep. This was compounded when a rodent ate through our bread in the kitchen.
Great stay in Tassie bush. Kids loved the activities. Highly recommended for a good stay away in the bush. Also close to Tribunna for Maria Island trip. Not that far from prot Arthur. So overall an excellent base for this part of the East Coat of Tassie.
We really needed a night away to spend with the children aged 12-5-3 and the activities were great for us all, it was great to see the kids outside experiencing nature. Kangaroos and feeding the deer. They all loved riding the small flying fox.
No TV was a bonus and we got to light a fire outside for warm and enjoyment.
