"Hotels.com said check-in was 4-7. We got a call as we pulled in the driveway saying that check-in ended at 5. Since we were there they checked us in. After that point there was no one on property who could provide any service. There was no ice in the building kitchenette. At 5:30 we texted the number provided for ice to the kitchenette but there wasn’t a response. At 8 pm we called a number and left a message with no response. I think at 5:30 pm there should be someone in the hotel to provide...

"very comfortable room and QUIET property, which I loved. Beds were incredibly comfortable and I slept so good! My ONLY complaint, is that the fireplace cant be on for long before making the room feel like a sauna, and there is no way to turn town the flames. And the thermostat was a little hard to figure out how to manage the room temperature, even WITH the instructions provided. But not a huge deal. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay. Will definitely come back."

"Nice quiet, clean place to overnight. Room had lovely antiques in it, nice bottle of wine as well. It's a refurbished older building so there was the expected moans and groans from plumbing and electrical. VERY nice place to stay with nice staff. Will definitely stay here next time I'm up."
