"This house is eclectic, with unique bedrooms and decor. Our grandkids range from 6 to 15 and all were excited to stay there. The only real issue was that the pool turned green during our stay (pollen likely contributed). The response to my call was prompt and addressed the problem although the water stayed cloudy for the entire stay.We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return."

"The property was absolutely spotless when we checked in. It is well appointed for cooking and grilling out, and beds were comfortable. Communication was quick and helpful. The outdoors and view are absolutely amazing, especially during sunrise over the lake. A bird/nature seeker’s paradise, even if you just sit out on the dock or patio. We also had a great time using the kayaks and paddle board and exploring the lake and channels as well. Bikes, boats, life jackets, etc are in good condition and easy to find. Hot tub was a nice place to relax. Overall a relaxing and comfy getaway at the lake!"

"The host was outstanding. At anytime, before or during my stay, he was quick to respond to emails or texts and answer any questions I had and did anything he could to make sure I had an outstanding experience at his home. The inside of the home was state of the art from appliances to TV to comfortable beds. The WiFi was excellent and allowed for easy streaming of all apps on the Smart TV. The living room area could use a more comfortable couch or chair. The bathroom shower always had plenty of hot water.I never had a problem with my safety taking my daily 3.5 mile walk each morning and nothing ever happened overnight with my SUV but the home is located in what appears to be a poorer section of Winter Haven. But again, I never had a problem.The listing indicated that there was a garage to park in but there was no garage when I was there.The house is located just off a main street and there is a lounge at the corner and one night there was a party at the lounge with cars parking down by the house and the music was pretty loud at one point for about 15-30 minutes but quieted down around 9:45. Again, this was the only time there was any loud music or noise while I was there.Again, the host went out of his way to make sure I had an enjoyable visit and while he probably can't take the credit, it was sunny and 80 for all but a couple of days during my visit."
