"Overall our stay was great. The home was very clean and had great access to our destinations. The only bad part of the stay was the beds. The mattress in the master bedroom was so thin that we could feel boards of the box springs. It was very uncomfortable and disruptive. It may have been the worst night’s sleep we’ve ever had. The second bed mattress was hard, but manageable compared to the master bedroom mattress. "

"Our stay was wonderful. Melissa was very helpful. She was quick to communicate when the power went out. Also very responsive to text and calls. The location is wonderful if you really want to get away. The hot tub was perfect she had it all ready for our arrival way.Thereis a nice field forpets to run arounf or for extra camping space for tents. "Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided. "

"This is a cabin. No verizon cell service. No wifi. No washer/dryer/dishwasher. If you can survive without those luxuries, it is an amazing place. This cabin is located a half mile from a gorgeous mountain lake! This cabin has an epic DVD selection for late nights! Hoodsport is a great small town with cute shops/restaurants. Our family would recommend this cabin!"

For checking in the check list was a huge process and I wasn’t sure and am still not sure if I was supposed to fill that or the cleaning people. I wish there was more of an explanation there.
