Lesser Antilles Historic Hotel

"First of all before I say anything else I want to say anyone visiting St Thomas should absolutely rent a car it's a must. A Jeep is even better because a few Beach roads were very off-road, most of them though a car is just fine. The hotel itself was very nice the food was surprisingly good in the restaurant. The swimming pool/ hot tub is open until midnight which was pretty awesome. The views from the hotel are spectacular. But the island in general is like this it is super hilly here very little flat land. The wifi worked perfectly except for for the week except one Saturday night when the hotel was completely packed and I couldn't log in for 8 hours but regular cell phone service worked slow but ok (Verizon). The showers were great with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. Full sized fridge. Oceana was the best restaurant on the island by the way. It's worth the money to buy a snorkel and mask when you first get to the island. Magens bay beach had many turtles and a few manta rays. It was the best snorkel Beach. Rock city tacos is the other recommendation. "

"This property is very well managed. Well trained staff, great views, sparkling clean, good food, very, nice pools, right next to the beach. The only thing we didn't like was the NYE party, very poor experience for a high price, definitely not consistent with the rest of the experience."

"The employees there were nice , great cleaning , and very courteous . I will you could call in the food to pick up to your hotel . But the food was amazing . I like that they had a pool . And the beach was awesome "

"Hotel was great at an affordable cost! Little outdated, but I think almost all hotels here are unless you want to spend a fortune at a resort. The restaurant attached was great and even opened on New Year’s Day when guests started asking if it was open. Great continental breakfast! Only downfall is the location and taxis, it’s a little out of the way but we were able to make do every time we needed a taxi"
