"Mixed review. We stayed on a Sunday evening. Be prepared to not be able to get anything food & drink wise at the hotel past 3pm. Staff were helpful in finding us restaurants nearby that would be open for dinner but without a car options were very very limited. Had a misunderstanding on checkout which whilst was an accident on their side I felt very awkward and uncomfortable about so service then was quite poor. Room was very clean. Lake view lovely. "We were warmly greeted by the Chateau staff who were extremely pleasant and courteous. The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! The grounds were well manicured and blooming beautifully at this time of the year. I highly recommend a romantic weekend getaway for two using the spa facilities if ever in the area! "

"Very happy with our stay overall. Just one suggestion. In bedrooms where you have instead of king size beds single beds placed next to each other, they tend to move and a gap opens between them. Perhaps they can be locked together so they remain in place. Another very minor comment, the breakfast room needs to also have big spoons for those eating cereals. Perhaps they were there, but we couldn’t find one. Again, much enjoyed our stay, thank you to your staff, will certainly be back."

"Very nice hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Restaurant for evening meals was faultless. Breakfast included both hot and cold. Something for everyone. There is some wear and tear here and there noticeably in the corridors between the rooms but this is a minor issue. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to the area."
