"This was very spacious. I think you could have a nice sized group here comfortably. 4-6. The area around the property is a bit run down. Thr property owner did not send instructions to enter prior to arrival, but responded quickly and we were inside within 10 min. The wifi password would not work, so we used cell and downloaded movies nearby to watch on Kindle. The main bedroom was large with a couch or maybe a futon. "The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. "

"We had a great time staying slopeside. It is a short walk down the road to get to Sundowner. We weren't first chair but we almost were. The house itself was clean and tidy. Had everything one would need and even had a coffee maker and Keurig. We will be planning to stay here again if we have the chance."

"While visiting our son at Castleton we stayes at this property instead if the usual hotel. So glad we did. Nice little area where we couldtakr a walk down along the water, they have a basketball hoop out back we used as well. we spend very little time in the room, vut while there it was very clean. My emails to the owber where always answered quickly. We will definitely book here again"

"It was convenient to a haunted castle in Proctor, downtown shopping in Rutland, and a gondola ride to the top of the mountain in Killington (it's also a ski resort). Venetia was extremely friendly. The room was clean, comfy, cozy, warm and quiet. But, bring a computer if you want to watch a movie ... no TV's. The main house is open 24/7 to use and they offer snacks/coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The outside is beautiful and there's a hot tub. They also start you a campfire! Very nice!"
