The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. "It was so much more than I could have imagined. The location is ideal for either GSP or LM and the amenities were excellent. We spent most of the day time at the parks, but our evenings consisted of relaxing at the getaway. Dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill was amazing and the fire pit was a perfect ambiance for the nighttime hill country. I should also mention breakfast on the stove with a light fire going outside was mint. Would definitely recommend for a secluded getaway. "

"I don't like saying bad things but the place was not clean. I had to move the couch to sweep up the food, plates, and bugs. I had to also sweep around the windows lots of bugs. The mattress cover on the pull out bed was full of hair and crumbs. I brought my sheets as stated but the previous people must have not done so. Other than that everything else was fine. "Cute house outside of Leakey, close to the west fork of the frio. River is dry for the most part, but they have been going through a terrible drought. Back porch has beautiful views of the hills. Nice walking trail down to river bed. House is old and has alot of charm, but needs some repairs and updates to make the house more comfortable. "
