"A bit of a walk, but it is a very nice walk and the views are spectacular. Breakfast was also a must. Very well done hotel and cosy reception. Lounge area is also very relaxing. I had an issue with a bathroom leak in the shower but it probably not common, I let the staff know."

"Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. "We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "
