Beautiful and clean, we loved the daily breakfast options and the cleanliness of the hotel was very nice. We loved our stay!

Hotel in a area with lots of good restaurants, shopping. We secured a really large room which was quite nice. We were going to stay additional nights but the room above us made so much noise just walking about their room starting at 430 am and the noise and vibration from downstairs was also annoying The church across the street rang Church bells all thru the night It definitely was not a great idea

The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great for saving us from having to go out to eat. However our room was on the top floor and had slanted ceilings with the roof, which had we known ahead of time, we would have booked a different room due to the fact that we could not stand up straight in the majority of the room (both 6ft ) and both hit our heads multiple times. We also were expecting a fully enclosed bathroom with walls, but the bathroom was closed in with frosted glass on 3/4 of it and clear glass on the lower and upper parts of it, leaving basically no privacy to do your business. So we did not love that. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel or room to stay in, just different than we expected compared to photos.

The location is perfect—right in the center of the city, within walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of modern comforts and Icelandic charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and well-furnished, offering a cozy, home-like atmosphere. I loved the fully equipped kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare our own meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Reykjavík Residence Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable base while exploring this stunning city!
