「Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!」

「Got to the place in the evening due to catching up with friends, greeted by the staff warmly, felt at ease as soon as we got there, sign in was easy and quick, and one of the staff was brilliant even offered to take our bag to our room. The room was gorgeous, nice and spacious with a TV, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. Bath and shower was great. The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and a blanket, which we used.」

「They need to explain that they are a dry site. There is no alcohol allowed on site. Not that I’m a big drinker, but I do like a drink while watching football. The TVs are not linked to the WiFi so there is no way to use some of the Smart Tv functions. This is company policy. 「The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.」
