“The property was beautiful. Tricky to get to the beach, highly recommend getting a day pass to enjoy the beach club at the hotel directly in front. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with our room, we booked a sea view with balcony, but given a ground floor room with a terrace right by the pool. That was considered a balcony room, so no concessions on that. There are some beautiful rooms, but not much privacy in the room by the pool. “Barcelo Huatulco was great! Beautiful beach, sunny and hot every day. The staff were always friendly, smiling, and happy to help. Lots of great activities from the entertainment staff! Food was ok - lots of options at the buffets, some things were great and others bland (especially desserts). Appreciated the salad bar, fresh cut fruit, fresh omelettes, and guacamole every day. The Italian restaurant was great - fantastic live piano, great service, and good food. Gym, pickleball, and basketball……

“This is an absolutely lovely property with the sweetest staff. Everyone is incredible welcoming and kind. Both beaches are stunning and very quiet, awesome for looking at seashells and body surfing. We had an amazing time and felt extremely safe, but I truly cannot stress enough that it is the staff who make this resort truly remarkable. As well as the beautiful nature and delicious food!!
