This property is seriously deficient. The owner did not provide the code needed to enter until we requested it shortly before arrival. The only communication we had ever received from the owner was a message that the kitchen sink was broken. The keypad on the door lock did not accept the code we were sent, and, after a lengthy response delay, the owner informed us that the code was for a lock box attached to a railing at the outer edge of the front porch and barely findable in the dark. There were no bedside lamps in any of the bedrooms, only ceiling lamps controlled by switches near the doors. I consider it unreasonable to have to get out of bed to control the lights, especially in the master bedroom where the bed frame extends about 8 inches beyond the mattress at knee level on all sides. There is exactly one waste basket, in the master bathroom, none in the other bathroom or anywhere else. The air conditioner cools well, but is extremely noisy and the blower is immediately adjacent to the bedrooms. We did not know if it was safe to use the whirlpool tub because one of the controls was missing, leaving an open hole. The property was supposed to have Wi-Fi, but the only information provided was the password, not the network name (and more than 10 networks with good signal strength were visible from within the house). The only television was a RokuTV with no directions for use, no ability to access the major TV networks, and, apparently, no registered streaming channels. There was no kleenex anywhere in the house. In conclusion, it is my opinion that the bare necessities needed for an acceptable VRBO experience are sadly lacking in this property. I cannot believe anyone would pay money for this. We have photographs to back up everything in this review.
