"We planned to visit the Lakes, but chose to stay in Lancaster and travel in because of the facilities and value for money. The swimming pool and spa was the main selling point. We all enjoyed the swimming pool but unfortunately the spa hot tub was not working. The room was comfortable and clean. ..."

The town centre didn't have a lot of independent shops but on our trip there was a market selling hot food from around the world. We'd had a big breakfast so didn't take advantage but it all looked and smelled fab. Loads of great pubs n bars.
