Adventure awaits at this 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom apartment in the heart of Lake Placid. In an incredible location, this vacation rental is steps away from all the best family-friendly activities as well as dining and shopping on Main Street. In the summer, you can walk around Mirror Lake and swim at the public beach or enjoy a tennis (or pickleball) match at the nearby courts. During the winter, you're steps from the Herbs Brooks Arena, Olympic Speed Skating Oval, Lake Placid Toboggan Chute, and skating or dog sledding on Mirror Lake. For skiers, the pickup for the free shuttle service between Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain is around the corner at the Crown Plaza Hotel, alternatively, you're only a 20-minute drive away. After an action-packed day, gather in the large open-concept kitchen to prepare and enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Perfect location!
We loved our stay at this property. The location was unbeatable--close enough to the shops and restaurants on Main Street, but far away enough to enjoy quiet time on the front porch. The house was large, clean, and bright, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Would absolutely recommend this rental.

Perfect Family Getaway
My partner and I have both spent a lot of time in Lake Placid before we were together. This was the first time coming back since we started a family and this house was the perfect place to do that. There are essentially 2 primary suites with another bathroom in the third bedroom and a half bath in the laundry room, which we used! It should also be noted that the washer/dryer are top of the line. The fourth room was the perfect play room for the kids and then converted to their bedroom at the end of the day with the pull out couch. The grill is was huge and fully functional and the kitchen island/dining room table was actually awesome for keeping messy kid eaters contained. Everything worked as it should have and was exceptionally clean. Parking is easy...Yes, there is a pretty steep hill when you are coming back from town, but we brought a stroller and it did not hinder the experience at all. This home is a gem and we hope to stay here in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful house & a great location!
Having 3 bedrooms all with a bathroom was perfect for our family of seven. The large kitchen & table was also a plus for a large group. It is a great location that made it easy to get to anywhere in Lake Placid! We enjoyed our stay here!

Very good location to walk to areas for shopping and dining. House was nice but outside areas (front and side porch) were not cleaned off for sitting outside without getting dirty from pollen/dust/dirt possibly after the winter/spring season. Otherwise, overall was a nice stay.

Comfortable, clean, great location.
This place is wonderful. Very clean. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds and pillows are super cozy and comfortable. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, silverware, grilling utensils, and misc other kitchen items. Nice washer and dryer. Body wash/shampoo/conditioner were provided and very good quality product. The kitchen/living space is bigger than it appears. TVs in each room makes for everyone to be able to wind down and watch their show/movie if necessary. Only a few board games but that was fine for us since we spent a lot of our time hiking/exploring the area. The porch is amazing. Great place to read, have a glass of wine and/or just relax. The location is perfect - just walk down the hill and you are right where all the shopping/restaurants are. Plus the Olympic center is right there. Close drive to putt-putt, the ski jump, VanHoevenberg, grocery stores and so much more. Great communication and recommendations by Rudy! Top class host and place to stay. We would definitely book again and recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay/experience!!

Lake Placid extra long weekend
We were a family of 8, with adult children. We have stayed in short term rental homes in Europe, Mexico, Canada and the US. This home was very clean and spacious, had all amenities you would need, the host was very responsive. Short walk to Main Street, the Olympic Arena/ Museum and Mirror Lake. Great place to stay.

The house was amazing. Located a close walk into the town shops and restaurants. Lots of room for everyone. The large kitchen and living room was a great place to gather, cook and have fun. Would definitely book again.

Went up with 4 friends to go skiing and we all had plenty of room and space. The place was very clean and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and had all that you needed. Perfect getaway to the Adirondacks and the host was very clear with expectations. Would definitely rent again!

We cannot say enough about the house, great location to the hockey rinks as we were there for the Can/Am tournament. The house is well appointed, towels blankets pillows! The kitchen had everything we needed and was a great size. The grill is huge! Communication with the host was immediate, thank you for a great stay!

Great location
Property is extremely convenient to Main St and Grand Adirondack wedding venue. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped to cook and dine in. Hilltop location may challenge pedestrians who are uncomfortable with sloped sidewalks, but we had vehicles and enjoyed walking to take in the views.

Whiteface long weekend
Excellent property for most anything you want to do in and around Lake Placid. Charming home with nice bedrooms and bathrooms as well as fantastic kitchen. Short walk down the hill to Main Street & Mirror Lake and 15 min drive to Whiteface. We will be back!

The house is roomy, with 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It is in a great location at the top of the hill above Main Street. This is easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

The space was perfect for our family. Beautiful space with high ceilings, plenty of room and all the comforts of home. It was very clean and the location was perfect! It's walking distance to everything! We didn't really need our car at all during the weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location, but noisy and very worn
The house is fine but not comfortable (extremely old and practically unusable living room furniture, beds were very uncomfortable) and very noisy (the upstairs folks kept us up at night). It’s a very central location. It does have a nice kitchen. I would not stay here again though. The fact we couldn’t sit comfortably in the living room was a major bummer.

Great experience!
This was first experience renting thru VRBO and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Rudy made everything so easy and was so pleasant to deal with. The house was a great set up. Especially loved that each bedroom had its own full bath! Great location and just what we all needed for a quick get away weekend.

Property is even better than the pictures, and perfect for multi-family trips. It's location is also very convenient for walking downtown or a quick drive to Whiteface or the Olympic centers. Rudy was also super easy to get a hold of and very helpful!

Rented this property for me and our adult children to attend a wedding in the area. Home was spotless, well appointed and the adult couples particularly liked the en suite bathrooms for all. Very conviently located and a nice walk into town. We all said we would rent there again.

Really Nice In Town House
This was a solid rental in Lake Placid. The space was better than the pictures would indicate. We were two families with 4 adults and 3 kids and we all had plenty of space with the bedrooms, bathrooms and two living spaces. If you have multiple kids I would recommend bringing an aero bed since there aren’t any bunk beds. We put a twin aero bed on the floor in the one bedroom so that we could keep the second living space open for kids play use instead of using the pull out bed. The kitchen was stacked fairly well but could use a few more things - like a set of wine glasses and better cooking utensils. Finally the location is great from a birds eye view in the sense it’s super close to town but if traveling with kids (we had a 3 YO) just realize you have to go down the very steep Olympic Dr next to the Crowne Plaza unless you could the opposite direction and head down Marcy At. It’s not impossible, we did it a couple times, just be prepared. Overall we had a really good stay at this house and would recommend it.
