Relaxing Beachside Retreat
We so enjoyed our stay. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing beachside getaway! A well stocked kitchen, comfy furnishings, books galore, board games, kayaks, beach chairs and the most beautiful stretch of sand in the Midwest!

Awesome Stay
We looked forward to this trip the past year and it did not disappoint. The location and view is absolutely beautiful. We took full advantage of the sauna to lake plunge daily. The kids loved the beach/water and looking for turtles around the house. Other than food and drink basically everything you need is supplied. We only left 1 time to go into town for the farmers market on Friday afternoons. Great trip!

Spectacular in every way
In late May, we had the beach to ourselves. The sauna and cold plunge into the Lake will be missed, as are the morning firings of the woodstove in the cabin while reading a great book. Location location location! Worth the additional expense for this humble farmer.

Cozy Lake Getaway in UP Winter
We loved our stay so much! The striking views of lake superior. The cozy wood stove. The wood fired sauna. Perfect homebase for exploring the winter wonderland that is the UP!! Todd was super kind and helpful during out stay.

Relaxing family get away
The communication from booking to check out was amazing. The property was as described and the view phenomenal. From cool dips in Lake Superior, warming up in the sauna or traversing all the Keewenaw has to offer led to a fantastic family get away. This property is on my list to return to.

Beautiful property!
We loved the cabin! The location is pretty remote, but so peaceful and quiet! Walking the beach and using the sauna- so relaxing! The adult bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs- which was the only downside for us older folks. Loved our stay!

Look no further!
This is a truly beautiful property! The home was comfortable and well stocked. A somewhat secluded location perfectly situated on the shore. Communication with Todd was spectacular, very responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t use the sauna more, the post swim in Lake Superior is an experience. I look forward to retuning soon!

Awesome location for relaxing
The sunrise over the lake was spectacular! We also enjoyed the birds and eagle (that was fishing). It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. Hope to make it back next year!

Peaceful place with great views!
The property matched the description exactly and was very nice! Great views of the lake, plenty of firewood for the sauna and wood stove inside. No neighbors on one side of the property makes the place feel extra secluded. Especially happy with how comfortable the beds were.

The Lake House is lovely and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the beautiful unobstructed view of the beach and lake from the wall of windows and the very nice deck. I will definitely visit again.

This was a great cabin with tons of useful amenities especially the sauna. Since our visit included a fresh winter storm, we made the most of the wood stove. The owner was responsive to requests during our stay. We started talking about coming back.

UP Winter
Clean and well stocked cabin right on the Big Lake. The wood stove and sow-na are wonderful after a day enjoying the snow. Wish we were still there!
