About this space
Get away from the hustle and bustle in this private hideaway, but only 5 miles from I-10 and I-75. Close to many state parks; 1 mile from Alligator Lake Park. Close to O’Leno State Park, Itchetucknee Springs S.P., Ginny Springs, and many others.
Newly remodeled. Experience romantic & tranquil getaway; 350 sq feet studio style apartment located adjacent to our home in a quiet neighborhood of Lake City, FL. You will have the entire space to yourself with private entrance and self-entry.
The space
The centerpiece of the room is a lavish California King size memory foam bed. Sink into the plush 15" memory foam mattress, which perfectly contours to your bodies. Two large drawers at the end of the bed are provided for clothing storage.
The in-room Jacuzzi jetted tub is a lovely amenity, and the room is thoughtfully designed with a small seating and viewing area, where you can snuggle up together.
For your convenience, a private kitchenette, complete with a mini-fridge, microwave, a Keurig coffee machine, with full coffee & tea station is provided. Dishes, cups, and silverware are provided along with a cozy cafe dining area.
The full bathroom, with a separate double-sink vanity area, offers privacy and convenience.
Entertainment options are available with a 39" TV equipped with Roku, allowing you to access various streaming apps; a DVD player and many DVDs are also available for your use. Books and board games are included with your stay.
Although the King Hideaway is connected to our home, rest assured that you will have complete privacy during your stay. A private entrance ensures that you can come and go as you please; as you will be provided a private door code.
Please keep in mind: We are very quiet people in general, however we cannot guarantee there won't be some noise between waking hours of 6am-10pm as we live and work in the adjoined home.
Also: We love nature, and in Florida, bugs are a part of the natural surroundings. We have regular pest control; however, open doors, food left out, etc. can invite unwanted critters inside.
Guest access
The entrance to the suite is the white door on the left under the carport. Guests may park one car in the carport, and one more on the street (please do not block driveways). There are motion sensors in the carport if you arrive at night.
The entire suite will be yours to enjoy. We now have a nice seating area under the carport for coffee or just visting.
Other things to note:
If you're looking for something a little extra special, I would love to help you make your stay exceptional. I make custom charcuterie boards to order and procure high-end, gourmet cup cakes. They will be waiting in your room upon arrival for that next level experience. Message me for more details.
Please, no pets of any kind, or smoking or vaping of any kind. We share an air filtration system with the guest suite and our allergies are extreme.
