Poor communication from host
We arrived at night and the arrival instructions were not sufficient to find the property. The host had told us to reach out if we needed assistance, but did not answer her phone or respond to our messages for help locating the property and in fact never responded to our messages for our entire 3 night stay. If we hadn’t finally managed to find it after 30 minutes of looking, we would not have received any assistance and would have needed to last minute find different accommodations. Overall property was pleasant and as described on the listing. We did see a sloth there which was nice.

It is ok if you don't mind to live with insects
It was not what we expected. We knew there would be insects in La Fortuna, but we didn’t imagine there would be any in our room since it wasn't sealed. However, it is a calm and secure place to stay. It was a bit difficult to find, though, but the host was very helpful. In summary, it wasn’t worth the price, but it was still okay. It could have been cleaner and had better furniture.

Peaceful Oasis
This property was a distance from La Fortuna and other points of interest. That was what I was looking for. In Santa Ana, constant construction noises have been disrupting my peace. This place was beautiful and remote. Some mold in the bathroom, and my bed had some weird fibers at the foot of the bed between the sheets., so I was a bit creeped out . But it is the jungle, and there were critters and crawlers everywhere. Pool and hammock chairs were great. I would come back, and bring more people to enjoy the incredible unobstructed views of La Arenal.

Una estancia muy agradable
La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos. La zona abierta de cocina-comedor y salón-barbacoa con piscina muy agradable y en bastantes buenas condiciones. La comunicación con la propiedad muy fluida y el servicio muy bueno. Todo el mundo muy servicial. Fue una buena toma de contacto con Costa Rica y su fauna. Quizá por poner una pega, la falta de lavadora-secadora. Estuvimos en temporada de lluvia y nos tuvimos que llevar la ropa mojada. Suerte que continuábamos nuestro viaje y pudimos resolverlo. Aún así, lo recomendaría para visitar la zona del Arenal.

Secluded Paradise
Such a unique and beautiful place to stay! The location is a little hard to track down as you have to drive down a dirt road, but wasn’t too bad. The house itself was clean and had such an amazing view of the volcano. The kitchen and 2 of the bathrooms are not walled off entirely, so you do get geckos/ frogs that come join you occasionally, but we thought it was a fun adventure! You feel very connected to nature. AC and Wi-Fi worked great, and the host was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Great place to stay!
