"The stay was beyond expectation and we found the accommodation unique, rustic, stylish and comforting. A late arrival meant that there was no front desk to check in. Extremely thorough instructions were provided instead and to our surprise, we had received an upgrade to the best room on the property. "Humble Spanish style hotel. Small clean rooms. Shower very small, not for heavy set or tall individuals. Long Check In process done at adjacent restaurant. Dead town at night."

"The photo’s are deceiving! The rooms are tiny with no storage or bathroom shelf space. The shower was hot and has good water pressure but, once again tiny! The beds are comfortable and the rooms have AC and heat. The rooms facing the street are noisy at night especially after hours. The proximity to the Alhambra is great BUT it is a long steep climb to the entrance, be warned! If you come in a vehicle and use the parking, a small vehicle is better as the access and spots are extremely tight!"

"I'll start with the positives, location is brilliant in that it's right next to the cathedral and close to walk to albayzin and other sights. The main corridor and lobby were also pleasant and nicely decorated with arab andalucian plasterwork. Room was ok size and beds were comfy. On the other hand, service was not ideal in that i called the hotel a few weeks before coming to request a twin room with 2 beds instead of a double to which the guy on the phone said ok. "Nice, ffriendly place, professionally run and maintained. Good little restaurant downstairs. Walking distance to town square and many restaurants/bars. Easy to park nearby on the street. Great satellite TV service in room. Only issue is that they had no reception for an entire day and one must phone them for service. Could be a big problem for travellers who don't have phones."

"The property is cheap, very conveniently located and the wifi is great. Other than that, it's not great. The sinks, toilets, and bathroom doors were falling apart. It's fine if you're spending a night or two in Granada and have limited funds, but otherwise you should look elsewhere."
