Areas for improvements
Fabulous location. Very spacious for a family or a group of friends. The kitchen allowed us to have some home cooked Japanese breakfast via ingredients bought from the supermarket near by.
Very poor communication from the owner.
We didn’t get any check in information from the owner prior to arriving. Upon arrival to Kyoto, we have no idea how to check in so I have called the telephone lines 3-4 times without any answers. I also texted the Hotel.com portal. Finally was able to connect with the owner at the inn via their remote ringer.
We then followed up to asked about drying racks as some of clothes are unable to be tumble-dried. However, NO REPLY.
Also, the bathtub stopper is broken and we weren’t able to enjoy the bath our tired bodies needed after various sightseeings.
