"Even better than I expected. Very nice and helpful staff. Nothing at all to complain about. The Western breakfast was a little plain, but the essentials were there, and we are in Japan anyway! "

"Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. Had a bizzare interaction with one particular staff member during check-in who was extremely rude and condescending for seemingly no reason. Did not encounter him again during my short stay and ultimately had no effect and I ended up having a wonderful stay regardless. It was just a very strange experience..."
