Stroll up and down the street, which is 0.7 miles (1.2 kilometers) long, for a glimpse of Stuttgart’s culture and history. The road starts at the city’s main railway station and goes through the heart of Stuttgart. Relax at one of the many international restaurants and people-watch through the windows. Note that the name of the shopping boulevard is German for King Street. It runs northeast to southwest through the city center of Stuttgart. Take a train to the Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof station or ride the U-Bahn system to the Schlossplatz stop and get around the shopping avenue on foot.
