It is easy to be separate or part of the hustle and bustle from this hotel. Plenty of restaurants and the beach a short walk away. A central location for Rhodes old town, butterfly valley and Lindos. Only 20 mins to the airport. Perfect location for a holiday. "

"The property has 2 buildings, one closer to the village centre and another one with direct access to the beach. We were lucky to be by the Gaia beach just opposite ours, which has a nicer swimming pool and a bar/restaurant, which is very good and part of the hotel management. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"Rania, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She thoroughly explained everything and gave excellent local recommendations. And most importantly she helped with my lost handbag; I left my handbag behind during the checkout process. The bag has passports and other important stuff. "Love embracing the culture away from the tourist traps. You don't really need a car. You can hire a taxi to get there and take the bus the rest of the time. Buses are reasonable only 3.30 euro from the town into the tourist cities. No need to look for parking in Rhodes or Lindos with the bus system. Bus station is maybe a 5- 8 minute walk. I will probably not rent a car next time. Rustic and what the locals live in. Loved the private patio. My daughter stayed up nights with the lights...

"Accommodation was fantastic, very clean and perfect for a very relaxing break. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Downside is supermarkets are around 15-20 mins walk away and the bar closes at 3pm daily so nowhere to purchase drinks or food after this time. Nearest tavernas a good 10-15 mins walk away . This wouldn’t stop us from staying here again but would recommend car hire if not great with mobility . "

"Hotel was based in a lovely setting and the Mountain View was quite unique. The pool areas were fantastic and the spa treatments were some of the best we’ve had. It’s a good location for accessing Rhodes town and Lindos if you have a car. Breakfast was good but the rest of the food was very average. The overall finish of the hotel was just slightly off with a bit of a touch up on paint, lay out of the room like including a kettle or coffee machine or a mirror with good lighting for women"
