"What a fun find. Most of the rooms only have screened windows with no glass but the rooms are quite comfortable. It felt like a classic Hawaiian experience. The oven access was amazing. We saw a sea turtle while snorkeling in front of the property."

"The unit we stayed in was not represented in the photos, it was a little old with no bedrooms with ocean views. The patio is as pictured, evening sun exposure. Turtles in the bay. Note there is no ac, but we were fine as we were out all day and here in December. Close to a lot of great things. Would stay again, but wosh they would have been more clear on what our actual unit looked like. "

"This was a perfect location for us as we only needed 2 nights between timeshare resorts. The kitchenette was cute and had adequate supplies for our short stay. The cutlery/knives were sort of a hodgepodge of older items so updating these would be beneficial - especially for any longer stays. I pack my own knives etc. so it wasn't a concern for us. An added bonus was having access to a wide variety of beach chairs/umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear etc. This isn't included in the description...

"This was our third or fourth time staying at this property and we absolutely love it. I have been to Kauai a number of times and as far as I am concerned this is the best property on the island. My 102 year old dad is a Pearl Harbor survivor so we make the trip to the ceremony every December and then hop over to Kauai for a little vacation, this house is perfect for him. I 10/10 recommend it!"
