"Good location, clean and cost effective hotel. The rooms are not very big but they are in good condition and functional even for 3 adults. They provided delicious coffee (which you can get more of from the lobby). The fridge and microwave were convenient. The area is quiet at night. There is no attendant to check in but they have a tablet with adequate English instructions. "My family and I loved our stay at Hiroshima no Yado Aioi. It’s a traditional ryokan/inn, with an onsen and delicious Japanese breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the location can’t be beat - across from the Memorial Peace Park and a ferry to Miyajima."

"The staff was exceptional. They graciously made follow-up phone calls relating to a lost mobile phone and assisted us in locating it. Great location. Adequate accommodations. The major negative was the pungent smell in the room. It smelt like cooked cauliflower, which we mitigated by opening the windows and using air freshener."
