Wonderful Property
My adult daughters and I stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend. Everything was excellent. Greg provided lots of detailed information for check-in, about the property, and for things to do in the area. He was quick to respond to our questions. The home was very clean, updated, well cared for, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Beds and bedding were very comfortable and there were several options for comfortable seating in 3 different rooms. Love, love, love the outdoor room and stone fireplace. The owner provided firewood and starter materials so we were able to easily start and enjoy a fire every evening in the pretty and comfy outdoor space. We grilled out on the gas grill one of the nights. Propane was provided. We enjoyed being outside whenever we were not out exploring the area. Mornings were good for bird watching. While at the house we saw a bald eagle, a blue heron, deer and three shooting stars. The night sky is amazing here. Lots of hiking in the area and the 30 minute drive to Kasterskill Falls was well worth it. Great little town and lots of good restaurants. We hope to return again!

A Gem in Woodstock
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful house. It’s just outside of Woodstock so a great location for seeing the area. Both the house and the outdoor areas are great. The heated swimming pool was a real bonus and was very clean and great to relax in after being out. The outdoor seating and cooking area is a place you will spend a lot of time in if the weather is good. The house is comfortable, plenty of space to relax and the kitchen has everything you need. Greg was a delight to work with, all instructions were easy and he made sure we had everything we needed.

A perfect retreat!
The house is even more beautiful in person, and our family (my husband and adult age son) had the peaceful getaway week we were hoping for. Easy to access, convenient to town and other fun destinations suggested by the owner, yet secluded, the property was just the ideal place for our little vacation. The pool is absolutely wonderful, and we spent many hours just swimming and reading poolside. We especially enjoyed the outside "living room" with fireplace on cooler nights. Everything felt so luxurious. The owner, Greg, was fantastic with prompt communications about any questions we had, and provided us with a wealth of dining, shopping, and attractions to explore (including Opus 40, which was as spectacular and indescribable as he promised). The house was immaculate, had all the conveniences a home could hope for, and we loved the beautiful architecture, the sun shining through skylit rooms, and even a wonderful library of books we enjoyed. We cannot recommend this property and its lovely owners more highly! We are grateful for the opportunity to rent the house, the perfect idyll for our family, and we hope to return in the future! Nicely appointed home on a large lot with beautiful outdoor space.
The outdoor living room is a real winner. I think I counted maybe 20 species of birds in the back yard. No close neighbors to speak of. Very short drive into town and other attractions. My wife and I had a very restful week there. Owner was available and attentive.

Great Off-Season Family Gathering
Our girls are on the coast and we're from Chicago. We get together as a family once each Spring so we decided to try something in the Catskills rather than staying in NYC. Amazing area - only 2 hours from NYC and you feel like you are in another world of beautiful nature. House is beautiful and clean with a wonderful outdoor area. It was pretty cold for our stay so did not take advantage of the outdoor space very much (we did make one fire out on the patio) but I'd imagine during warmer months it would be fantastic. Large built-in outdoor pool. Property overlooks a small stream. Inside rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. Sunken living area is pretty cool with nice fireplace. Only negative would be a few bugs (since it's a country house) and water pressure in master bath is minimal but nothing to really complain about. Local area is very interesting but again this was off-season so some places were closed or had different hours. We stayed mid-week and ate at Red Onion and at Nirvana for Indian food and both were absolutely superb. As to local travel we hiked to a waterfall and took a road trip to the original Woodstock festival location (surprisingly more than an hour away). Had one celebrity sighting in town (my girls recognized someone from the movie Oppenheimer) not sure what his name is but he was in the local bakery. Last day took a cold stroll around the downtown shops and had lunch, then back to NYC. Overall great time, very nice house would definitely recommend.

Awesome Trip to Woodstock.
We had an awesome time staying at this great home in Woodstock. The owners were great to work with and very responsive to any request. We skied at Hunter Mountain and this was the perfect location for commuting to the mountain. The town has a wonderful vibe and is full of excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend this home.

Great Woodstock Vacation
Wonderful place for a family stay. Indoor and outdoor rooms, paradise! Inside, lovely stone steps lead down into a great stone room with fireplace, plenty of seating and entertainment options—we spent hours there. High quality outdoor grill and all appliances. Well stocked and furnished. We loved it!

A warm and inviting home. My wife and I and two adult children enjoyed this comfortable home over a long holiday weekend. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The living room was a great place to relax and play games. The heated pool during the day, and outdoor fire place at night, were a hit with the family. Greg was a great and responsive host.

The perfect getaway
We loved this house! Greg was the perfect host, very easy to reach and helpful. The house itself was in a great location, clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay in Woodstock,NY. The home is beautifully and well appointed. The surrounding property is equally lovely and we were about a mile from town. The kitchen is cook’s dream. We also enjoyed the stone fireplace in the family room. The home was spotless and an early check in was most appreciated. We look forward to returning!

Stunning Catskills Retreat
We had an incredible time at Greg and Leigh Anne's property. The house is really special — beautifully decorated, great layout, nice big kitchen, and very clean and comfortable. The covered deck is amazing — the fireplace is stunning, the outdoor furniture is really nice, and the entire space is thoughtfully designed. We spent our evenings in front of the fire. The location is serene and beautiful, and also super convenient. It's a short drive to town and very close to all the great hiking spots in the area. Greg was a great host and very communicative and generous. We had a terrific time and hope we can go back soon!

Beautiful property near hiking biking and town.
This property gave me all I needed plus some! The house was a 5 minute drive to town, 15-25 mins to great hiking, and 20 mins drive to the Ashokan rail trail. The outdoor space was inviting and beautiful, and the pool was immaculate. The house had everything you needed without being over- furnished. Greg was very attentive, and made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend it!

A wonderful home in a wonderful part of NY
We loved staying at this house! It was comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, especially the pool during the heat wave! The hosts were so amazing—in addition to providing a great introduction to the house and the area, they responded to all questions ( big and small) in record time. This was our first VRBO experience and we’ll definitely be doing it again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Everything was just as it was previously (wonderful) except for the weather! It was so chilly at one point that we had to contact Greg to turn on the heat! Otherwise, you will not be disappointed if you stay here.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The well-designed, beautifully decorated home was even better in-person than in the photos. Everything was very clean, and there are great spaces to gather inside and outside--the covered patio area was a big hit. We enjoy cooking together, and the kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed (and much more!). The owners are very responsive and were helpful in answering any questions we had. This is a great place for a quiet family retreat, or a comfortable base to explore the Catskills.

Ideal getaway
Fantastic property with everything you need for a long weekend and just a few minutes from town. Gazebo area is incredible and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a bbq with friends. Pool was of course such a treat. Basketball hoop was ideal to get some shots up! Inside has a lovely set up and designed elegantly but modern and chic. Kitchen sky light let’s in great light. Seems to be recently renovated and gives off a new but soulful vibe. Greg was easily the best host I’ve had on any home sharing experience - kind and informative, always helpful , and willing to work with us on our questions/accommodations. Would love to come back!

Beautiful, well-appointed Catskill Vacation Home.
We immediately felt at home walking through the door! Greg and Leigh Anne provided all the comforts of home and then some. The indoor and outdoor amenities are top-notch and well cared for. Our two grandsons swam in the beautiful, heated pool day and night, rain or shine! The outdoor covered deck is a bonus and perfect setting for snacks, meals and star gazing. Although we had no issues, Greg was readily available. One of the nicest vacation homes we have rented in the past 12 years!

Perfect for family getaway
This house was exactly what we needed; away from the city, close to nature and great pool. We had 2 toddlers and a 6 year old in our group and they had a great time. There is only one AC in the house and fans in every room and it was quite comfortable even when the outside temperature went up in the 90’s. Greg was a great host, very responsive…we weren’t able to get the pool heater to work, contacted Greg and by the next day we had a warm pool :) loved the creek next to the house, really makes the scenery even better, specially we all the rain we had, water was really flowing. definitely recommend this house for your Woodstock visit.
