check in went pretty smooth, but when we got to our first room, as we were checking for bugs under the linens, we found a spider on the second bed, under the pillows. Spoke with jessica (not the manager) at the front desk and she moved us to another room. During our inspection of that room, another spider was noted on a bed in that room as well! Jad moved us to another room and stayed with me while I inspected the beds in that room. Finally, no bugs, but the walls were dirty with black smudges and who knows what. Jad and Jessica told me I should speak with Jessica (the manager) about my experience for compensation. Once i did, I was informed, that because I booked through a third party, they couldn’t help me. During the “hot breakfast” the gravy was cold, the drink machine was broken and we were offered drinking fountain water or we could buy beverages from the vending machine. The furniture and facility is rather dated. Jad mentioned the facility is due for renovation this year sometime.
