Family vacation at Mermaid Manor
Great communication from Kees Vacation, great location and a well equipped kitchen is why we rated our stay at 4 stars. The townhouse is in a very central location in Kill Devil Hills, close to the Wright Memorial. Easy place to walk and run from. Neighborhood is being extended so our front view was a construction zone. What brought down our rating was that the furniture had seen better days, sofa was sagging and the beds creaked terribly. Bathrooms and bathrooms were clean but the carpet was very dirty and the garage hadn’t been swept or even had the trash picked up. First thing we did was sweep the garage so we wouldn’t bring all the sand from it into the house. We made it work and we’re thankful for our family time together but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Good stay for the most part
The property was great the inside of the house was great everything was put together great. The only problem we had which was a pretty big problem was that online it said it slept 6 there were 2 bedrooms and the couch was a pullout but the pull out couch was very dirty not cleaned at all and in my opinion that pullout mattress needs to ve replaced immediately. So from us not letting our childern sleep on that pull out couch it forced us to have to go and buy a blow up mattress just for our kids to have somewhere to sleep at. Yes it was only one thing wrong with the house which isnt alot at all but the one thing that was wrong was very big deal for us because it ended up costing us more in the end and also mad it more crowed on the upstairs.

We had trouble with the code to get in then got in however the grill was not working and we had to clean sheets and towels also the refrigerator, the previous tenant left cups and cans in the garage and outside which we had to wash. The place needs a update to the bathrooms because we had mildew growing in the shower in two days

Yearly friend vacation
We stayed at this property with our 2 friends and our 3 year old. It was conveniently located to everything we did while there for 7 days. The neighborhood water park was a hit with our child and even the adults. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.
