"It was easy to get out and about from there. Lovely to see deer in the garden. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, we slept well. The house had all you needed but the sitting room was a bit sparse and not well laid out for watching a small tv screen. The conservatory was relaxing. The Local Hero was a great place to eat and Morrisons was close by for any shopping. We really liked Benmore Gardens and our trip to Bute."

Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property. "Had a fabulous wee break. Inverary is very welcoming, excellent choice of quality dining. Cottage was great, reminded me of a family trip to Inverary when I was a child. Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return."

Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach.
