Perfect vacation getaway

This small cottage was a perfect spot for our family. We loved being in a neighborhood in a great location. Ulua beach is just down the hill and so is great food and restaurants!! The place is clean and the beds are super comfy.

Great place!

Second year we have stayed here. Very quiet on dead end street in Maui Meadows. Beautiful view. Really no issues at all. Will stay here again next year when we return to Maui!

Relaxing experience!

We stayed here for 5 nights with our two littles. It was a great experience. The house was perfectly prepared for us - nicely remodeled and decorated. The views from the lanai were beautiful. We enjoyed early morning coffee and sunset dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed a family movie each evening. It's perfectly located and we would most definitely come back. A pleasant home for a vacation

Everything was clean and thoughtful except we missed not having a dining table with chairs or even one chair in the entire cottage. It was difficult eating or working with a computer on the trunk-like coffee table with no place for the legs. Other than that, we recommend this place. Eugene and Renate Pires

Peaceful stay in Maui

Our family stayed here on a one week vacation in Maui. The cottage is a perfect size for a family of 4. Everything was clean upon our arrival. We appreciated as guests having access to beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. There is also a washer and dryer located outside which was very helpful to use during our extended stay of the island. There are 3 AC’s and ceiling fans throughout the cottage which cool down each room quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed ending each day by eating dinner out on the lanai as the sunset. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

The cottage exudes an enchanting Hawaiian charm with its tasteful, comfortable furnishings, and its well-equipped amenities provide everything you need for a perfect getaway. The real magic of Nahenahe Cottage lies in its surroundings. The lush tropical gardens are an absolute delight, making you feel like you've entered a private oasis. We spent our mornings sipping freshly brewed coffee on the lanai, listening to the songs of local birds, and our evenings were graced with the stunning Maui sunsets. What truly stood out was the cottage's location. Overall great experience

This home is in a beautiful neighborhood in close proximity to everything. The outside of the home is unassuming but once your indoors it’s clean, modern and lovely. It is truly a home away from home equipped with everything. I gave it 4 stars because we did have a minor plumbing issue that was resolved and we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the Lanai because or community cats.

Perfect!

I stayed here with my family and it was the perfect place to be. We are about 5 to 7 minutes into Kihei and all the beaches in Wailea. We had a car so driving to and from was not an issue. The home had towels, boards, beach chairs, mats, coolers and umbrellas for the beach. When we arrived 2 of the umbrellas in the box were broken but they were placed the same day I called to advise Vacasa. Also, our stay was for 17 days and there were no cleaning supplies for the bathroom or kitchen. I requested by telephone again and the cleaning supplies were dropped of the same day. The property is clean and good for a small family. We like not being in crowds and not having any concerns regarding noise (such as you would in condos/hotels). The property has a lovely deck with beautiful views and a BBQ for use. We did cook quite often during our stay. This was home away from home for us.

Easy, good communication, comfortable

A small cottage in an out-of-the-way neighborhood, but still convenient to Kihei proper. The property was clean and well furnished with plenty of towel, pillows, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and toiletries. The bedding was quite comfortable as well. Fresh mangos from the tree outside was a nice bonus. The check-in process was contactless and painless with all property details emailed in advance.

Sleepless Nights from water leak alarm!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cottage for my daughter who was visiting from Canada with her 15 month old. While the cottage has a cozy vibe, it ended up being a terrible experience. Day 2 and 3 resulted in virtually no sleep due to a faulty water leakage alarm that the property manager couldn't seem to fix -- it went off multiple times each night in the wee hours of night. After several rounds back & forth w/ the property manager requesting at least 1 night's concession, we received a small adjustment but no explanation (when asked) how they derived the small refund.

Beautiful house, great location!

The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean, newly decorated and in a nice residential neighborhood with beautiful plants. The owners were great. There was a pretty view of the ocean from the deck and a short drive to the beach. Overall an excellent location! While the owners themselves were lovely, we were unimpressed with TurnKey property managers. The rental sleeps five. We had five people in our party. We indicated well in advance to TurnKey that we would need an additional chair for the only table in the house (which happens to be outside on the deck and was pictured with 4 chairs). TurnKey did not reply to us before our trip. When we arrived there were four chairs. We contacted turnkey immediately to request an additional chair so that all five of us could sit for Thanksgiving dinner. We were told it was not possible to give us an additional chair. That’s it. Very poor management. When the owners found out about this they were very kind and found an additional chair, however by this point it was near the end of our trip. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it, however if I were the owners I would find different property managers to manage their lovely beach house.
